Win a Heart 180 defibrillator for your not-for-profit organisation

To acknowledge the work that Guy Leech is doing, dedicating his life to heart health and saving lives, Bundaberg Regional Council will be donating a defibrillator from Guy's company Heart 180, the number one distributor of defibrillators in Australia, supplying thousands of these life-saving devices to the community.

This will be open to all not-for-profit organisations. Please read the Terms and Conditions and complete the form for the chance to win the Heart 180  Defibrillator

Terms and Conditions

  • This competition is run by Bundaberg Regional Council (Council). 
  • By entering this competition, you agree to abide by and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. A failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions will render any entry invalid and an entrant will be ineligible to claim the prize. 
  • The competition is open from Tuesday 25 July 2023 to Friday 25 August, 2023.
  • The winner will be drawn on Monday 28 August 2023 at Council’s office at 190 Bourbong Street, Bundaberg, Queensland 4670.
  • To be eligible for the prize, entrants must:
    1. submit a story of up to 50 words on why they need a defibrillator for their organisation; and 
    2. be a not-for-profit organisation or registered charity operating in the Bundaberg Region (proof of address required). 
  • The winner will be chosen from entries submitted and judged by a panel. Council’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 
  • The prize winner will be notified by email (as supplied in the form) on the same day. 
  • For-profit groups, government agencies, Council employees and Councillors are ineligible to win the prize. 
  • Prize includes a Heart 180 Defibrillator valued at up to $1495. 
  • Prize is not transferrable nor redeemable for cash. 
  • Council accepts no responsibility for and you agree to indemnify and release Council against any loss or damage howsoever arising (including negligence), to a person or property, arising out of or in connection with the competition including (but not limited to) erroneous late or misdirected entries, errors, delay or malfunction of Council’s website and any implications of winning the prize. 
  • Council reserves the right to cancel or terminate the competition if, for any reason, the integrity of the competition or its fairness or security is compromised. 
  • Images or recordings uploaded may be used, published or reproduced by Council, its agents and in any form (in whole or part) and by any medium, including but not limited to websites and social media.
  • Council will not make any payment, royalty or other consideration (monetary or otherwise) in relation to the provided images and recordings in connection with this competition.  
  • Council may vary these Terms and Conditions without notice to participants by publication of the Website of the amended Terms and Conditions.
