Have your say on the proposed amendment to the Bundaberg Regional Council Planning Scheme

Council has prepared Planning Scheme Amendment No. 17 (Tailored Amendment - Bundaberg Health and Enterprise Precinct) which seeks to incorporate local planning for the area surrounding the new Bundaberg Hospital which is currently being constructed by the Queensland Government at Thabeban. 

Council is seeking your feedback and comments on the proposed amendment by close of business (4.45pm) on Friday, 19 December 2025.

Bundaberg Regional Council is collecting your personal information (e.g., name, address, phone number etc), for the purposes of receiving a ‘properly made’ submission on the proposed amendment to the Planning Scheme. This information may be provided to the Department of State Development, Infrastructure and Planning (DSDIP) for the purpose of providing a summary of matters raised in submissions. This information will only be handled in accordance with Council’s Privacy Statement governed by the Information Privacy Act 2009. Visit bundaberg.qld.gov.au/privacy for further information.

  2. If there is insufficient room for your submission, please attach additional sheets.
