Bargara Shoreline Erosion Management Plan

Council has commenced the development of a Shoreline Erosion Management Plan for the Bargara foreshore. The study area includes approximately 2km from The Point in the south to the Bargara Sports Complex in the north. An important part of the project is to build on local experience, knowledge and ideas for how to make the Bargara shoreline more resilient now and in the future. We value the community’s involvement and encourage you to fill out this short survey.

Please take our 5 minute survey to provide us with your perspectives on:

how you use the Bargara coast and foreshore areas

what you value about the Bargara coastline

your experiences of coastal hazards (erosion, inundation)

your memories and knowledge of how the Bargara coast has changed over time.

Your responses will help inform the development of the Bargara Shoreline Erosion Plan.

Council is collecting your personal information (e.g. name, phone number etc.) which will be used for the purposes of the development of the Bargara Shoreline Erosion Management Plan.
