Council has prepared Planning Scheme Amendment No. 18 (Zoning Amendment - 'Gympie Estate' Bundaberg East) which seeks to change the zoning of the Council owned land referred to as 'Gympie Estate' at Telegraph Road, Bundaberg East from the Low density residential zone to the Open space zone.
Council is seeking your feedback and comments on the proposed amendment by close of business (4.45pm) on Monday, 8 June 2026.
Bundaberg Regional Council is collecting your personal information (e.g., name, address, phone number etc), for the purposes of receiving a ‘properly made’ submission on the proposed amendment to the Planning Scheme. This information may be provided to the Department of State Development, Infrastructure and Planning (DSDIP) for the purpose of providing a summary of matters raised in submissions.
