One Million Trees – Resident Voucher Program

The 2021 Resident Voucher Program is now open.

Residents within the Bundaberg Region can download a voucher that is redeemable for 2 free seedlings, with 2,000 vouchers available under the first allotment of the 2021 Resident Voucher Program..

Planting one million trees is an ambitious goal and we need help from across the entire region to reach our target. This program provides an easy way for residents to get involved in the program and, at the same time, make our region a more beautiful place to live.

To participate in the Resident Tree Voucher Program:

  1. Fill out the form by clicking here.
  2. Check your email for your tree voucher and download to your mobile device (or print out a copy).
  3. Take your voucher to Bundaberg Landcare and redeem it for two free seedlings.

General guidelines for the Resident Tree Voucher Program are:

  • One voucher is redeemable per household for any two approved tree seedlings at Bundaberg Landcare (7 Killer St, Svensson Heights) – open 9am to 4pm Wednesdays to Fridays.
  • Click the link to find a list of approved native species from which to choose.
  • Your voucher must be presented to Bundaberg Landcare to receive your trees.
  • Before visiting the nursery, please call to confirm availability of preferred seedling stock and nursery opening times. Council cannot guarantee availability of all species.
  • Businesses are not eligible for tree seedling vouchers at this time.
