Feedback – proposed Burnett Heads dog park
Following extensive community consultation, up to 5 sites have been identified for dog parks around the region, subject to budget and availability of materials etc.
The proposed Burnett Heads site is at Jack Strathdee Memorial Park, with features including:
- Integrates with existing car parking, playground and toilets
- Plenty of shade, water and some grass cover
- Existing shelter & seating (outside of dog park perimeter)
- Established trees providing natural shade for dogs
- Esplanade footpath adjacent to park used by dog owners
