The Eat, Breathe, Move program was delivered throughout 2023 to promote physical activity by recognising the connection between metabolism, breathing and movement. Eat, Breathe, Move has finished this stage
Regional network of sporting clubs and the active industry will be facilitating “Skills and Drills” events for youth in 2023.
“Skills and Drills” events target students to engage with local sporting clubs, practice basic skills, and introduce youth to various sports and physical activities.

A range of public lectures and events educating and encouraging people to Eat, Breathe, Move were delivered through the region.
School visits

Over 3500 students from 21 local primary and secondary schools were visited with students and teachers engaging in the Eat, Breathe, Move concepts.
Sporting club initiatives

Over 370 children participated in Skills & Drills Activities throughout 2023 delivered by local sporting clubs.
Walking activities

Walking activities were featured in Council's Be Active, Be Alive program.
