As part of the Eat, Breathe, Move program we encourage Bundaberg locals to get out and get moving.

One of the simplest ways we can move more is just by going for a walk.

Walking can be enjoyed by anyone, no matter what your age or fitness ability, and is a great way to be active and improve your physical, mental and social wellbeing.

Walking for just 10 minutes can have benefits and can contribute to the recommended 30 minutes of moderate activity per day.

During the Eat, Breathe, Move program we showcased some of our regions 10 000 Steps Pathways and encouraged locals to enjoy the health and social benefits of walking by joining us for an Eat, Breathe, Move facilitated walk as a feature activity in councils Be Active, Be Alive program.
