They also learnt how to make potting mix and planted a bush tucker plant to take home.
It was also a unique opportunity to learn about indigenous symbols and their meanings with Faren Munro, member of the Jinjinburra Aboriginal Corporation.
Green Book youth members had a great time painting boomerangs, gaining an understanding of the symbols and their significance.

It was a successful, fun and productive event with the community members young and old, making bird feeders & bee hotels and learning about Australian wildlife.

It also provided basic understanding of project management to develop and facilitate environmental programs for Project Green Book.
