Mayor’s Christmas Appeal

Each year, the Mayor's Christmas Appeal plays a vital role in helping ensure that everyone in our region can share in the joy and generosity of the festive season.

The appeal assists community members who are experiencing hardship, and your contribution helps us provide meaningful and practical support when it is needed most.

The involvement of local businesses, organisations and general public makes a remarkable difference to so many lives.

The 2025 Christmas Appeal raised over $75,000, which provided 930 hampers and 225 gift cards to families in need.

Our region's generosity not only delivers essential help to families and individuals but also strengthens the sense of care and community spirit that our region is known for.

Your support has a ripple effect - uplifting those who are struggling, encouraging others to give, and reinforcing the connections that hold our community together.

    We are already in the planning stages for the 2024 Mayor’s Christmas Cheer Appeal and would love your feedback and input to make it even more successful.

    We would appreciate if you could fill out the survey by the end of January, 2024.
