Mayor’s Christmas Appeal

In 2025, the Mayor’s Christmas Appeal raised funds to help make the season brighter for Bundaberg families. Thanks to the generosity of our community, trusted charity partners turn those contributions into festive hampers and gift vouchers filled with care, kindness and Christmas spirit.

Charities partnered with the Mayor’s Christmas Appeal in 2025:

In 2024 the Mayor’s Christmas Cheer Appeal supported 500 local families to make sure no one went hungry at Christmas.

History tells us this number increases every year.

    The first business has signed on to sponsor the Mayor's Christmas Cheer Appeal which will see hampers delivered to 20 families in need during the festive season.

    The Mayor’s Christmas Cheer Appeal is off to a cracker start for 2022, after raising over $3500 from the sale of locally made and collectible Christmas baubles last year.

    The appeal, which was launched in December, is raising funds to assist a number of local charities to provide hampers for local families in need this Christmas.
