Your views will help to shape walking improvements around Bargara Central.
Council was successful in securing Local Government grant funding through the Department of Transport and Main Roads and Queensland Government, to undertake walking network planning for the Bargara Central Shopping Centre catchment.
This catchment focuses on a two-kilometre radius around Bargara Central as per the Department of Transport and Main Roads Walking Network Planning guidance.
Council has engaged Arup to work with the community and key stakeholders to help identify opportunities and barriers for people walking.
Council's survey for this project closed on Sunday 10 March 2024.
