Council has approved two additional fenced dog parks to be constructed in the 2021/2022 financial year.
We would like your input on where you would like them to be.
These two new dog parks will be in addition to the four off leash dog parks that are open in the Bundaberg Region:
1. Lions Park Dog Park, 29 Edina St, Bundaberg North
2. Daph Geddes Park, 33 Quay St, Bundaberg East
3. Nielson Park, Fred Courtice Avenue Bargara
4. Mary Kinross, Woongarra Scenic Drive Bargara
These sites are well used and some have generated new friend groups and friendships, both for the fur-balls and their owners. Some friend groups have even organised day trips to the unfenced off-leash areas on Woodgate Beach (accessed at Theodolite Creek Drive and Timber Cutters Drive, Woodgate).
Council would like your feedback on where you would like a fenced dog park; and has developed the survey, below.
Please fill it out between Wednesday 1 September and 5pm Thursday 30 September.
