June 2025 Project Update

Works on the Anzac Park Stage 1 Redevelopment are progressing well with bulk earthworks, stormwater drainage and sewer relocation being completed in the first quarter of 2025.

Works in progress:

• Inground services have recently been completed in May 25 with concrete pathways detailed landscaping progressing
• Concrete seating and memorial elements will soon be lifted into place in July 2025
• Council have worked with the RSL to have the Ordnance QF 25 – Pounder Field Gun returned to Anzac Park
• Riverside lights adjacent to ANZAC Park have been repaired and are now working
• Anzac Veterans Memorial Monument has been returned to Anzac Park after being temporarily relocated at BUSS Park
• Flag pole installed

A combination of unexpected works including heritage considerations, compliance requirements, site conditions and weather impacts have delayed the Project.

Works are scheduled to be completed in August 2025 with the exception of the Amenities building and surrounding area which is scheduled to be complete in October 2025 weather conditions permitting.
