CLOSED: This survey has concluded.
Thank you for being part of the Bundaberg Region FOGO Trial.
This second survey aims to discover what changes to your waste, recycling, food and organics habits have been made since the commencement of the trial and any challenges faced with transitioning your household to a three bin system.
The information will be used by Council for internal purposes to better understand the community.
A third survey in late 2024 will be available to residents to determine their views of the Trial following their full experience with the FOGO bin across all seasons.

The Bundaberg Region FOGO Trial is concluding, and the Council seeks final feedback from participants about their experiences over the past 12 months.
Background Information:
- Council implemented the trial to investigate a way to reduce the Queensland Waste Levy on landfilled household waste, which is expected to cost the region’s homeowners an additional $28 million over the next nine years. For further details, including the preliminary business case, click here.
- The trial has diverted 51% of participants' waste from landfill - more results of the trial can be found in the latest FOGO Newsletter.
- The information you provide in this survey will help assess the trial's overall results and guide Council on the best approach for the community in the future.
- We value all feedback, so if there is anything not covered in this survey, please contact Waste Services at 1300 883 699.
