Community Development Strategy 2024-2028 - Community Survey

Have your say on the Bundaberg Regional Council’s next ‘Community Development Strategy’ focusing on the next four years: 2024 - 2028.

Community Development is seeking community feedback to help inform its future direction.

Through this strategy, Bundaberg Regional Council aims to:

• Respond to priorities to create an attractive and liveable community as highlighted in Council’s Corporate Plan
• Deliver awareness and educational programs, an inclusive community, improved accessibility, and create innovative activities and initiatives to support community participation and satisfaction
• Set clear direction and actions as to how these priorities will be achieved, measured and monitored
• Meet the needs of community groups and clubs in the Bundaberg region
• Build capacity of community to understand their own needs and other’s needing support through empowerment
• Build strategic partnerships, alliances and networks to advocate collective action

Bundaberg Regional Council has a vision to build Australia’s best regional community by focusing on the values of respect, leadership, sustainability and innovation, customer focus, pride in its teamwork and to communicate in an open and respectful manner.

We are undergoing the development of a new strategy for 2024-2028, and this survey is intended to provide community feedback to make sure this is a community driven document. By taking this survey, be assured that your voice will be heard, as we endeavour to advance the Bundaberg Region as a socially inclusive community; one in which gaps and barriers are addressed, with clear actions as identified, by the residents of the region.

Surveys are preferably completed online. If you would like a paper copy, either print one off from the Documents section, download it here or collect from your nearest Library or Council office, and return by 4:45pm Monday 4th September.
