August 2024 update

Shade sails for the playground will be installed in early 2025.

July 2024 update

The new playground has been installed and is open to the community for use.

Work continues on the refurbishment of the park shelters.

Fencing remains on site to allow the new turf time to settle in.

May 2024 update

The design for the playground has been completed and the play equipment is now being constructed.

The existing playground will be removed and replaced with new play equipment between June - August 2024.

Council is also undertaking restoration and refurbishment of the park shelters.

Stabilisation work on the pump shed has been undertaken and is now completed.

February 2024 update

The deck area has now been upgraded and conversion of the planter bed to bench seat has now been completed.

Project

Bundaberg Regional Council is seeking feedback on upgrades to Bargara Views Estate Park located off Moodies Road in Bargara.

The upgrades will replace aging infrastructure and provide new facilities to support the recreational needs of the community.

This project is funded under Bundaberg Regional Council's Capital Works Program 2022 - 2023, with work expected to commence in late 2023.

The park upgrades will include new play equipment, picnic shelters, an upgraded deck in front of the lake and entryways into the Estate.

Please note that playgrounds removed from Council parks cannot be sold or donated to the community as they no longer meet current Australian standards.
